How to find and use the music box in Phasmophobia

Your ultimate goal in Phasmophobia, in addition to surviving, is to collect information about ghosts. There are a number of tools at your disposal to persuade the ghost to show, at least the long time to take some photos or make talk using your Spirit Box. Outside those tools are also cursed possessions, such as the music box. If you have problems locating the music box, here is How to find and use the music box in Phasmophobia .

How to find and use the music box in Phasmophobia

Finding the music box in Phasmophobia will be much more difficult than using it. Since it tells as a damn possession, and there are six in total, that means that it has a possibility among six of appearing on the map. If you find, for example, the Tarot cards, then the music box will not appear.

That said, if you are lucky and the music box appears on the map, this is what you should do:

* collect the music box.

The simple fact of holding the music box, without reproducing the music, will not affect the ghost in any way.

* Active Music Box with the predetermined use button.

Be careful: music attracts ghost to its location. You will know that it is close if you listen to the ghost humming the melody. If the ghost reaches you while holding the music box, a cursed hunt will begin.

* Alternatively, you can activate the music box and leave it using the predetermined secondary use button.

Doing this will continue to attract the ghost, but only the music box. Take this as an opportunity to take pictures. Just keep your distance.

Where to find the music box

Rent of asylum music boxes

The music box can appear in the asylum in six different places.

  • After the main door, look in the middle of the lobby.
  • Look near the reception counter in the lobby.
  • Near the reception there is a dentist room. The music box is inside.
  • Another possible gene is in office #3.
  • Enter asylum and go to the right. Continue until you reach the first wall.
  • Enter asylum and go to the left. The music box is on the right wall, before bending the corner.

Rent of music boxes at Bleasdale Farmer

The music can appear in one of the seven locations of the Bleasdale Farmhouse map.

  • In the northeast of the attic section.
  • Being room on the first floor, north section of the room.
  • Outside the child's room, just to the right of the door.
  • Second floor, inside the boy's bedroom.
  • Office on the first floor, next to the West Wall.
  • Locate the bathroom door. The music box is on the right.
  • Second floor, inside the girl's bedroom.

Browstone High School's music boxes locations

There are only four possible locations for the music box to appear at Browstone High School.

  • East side of the lobby.
  • Another is in classroom #5.
  • As the steps climb up to the second floor, look at the rest between the floors.
  • Go to the right after entering the lobby. The music box is located next to the wall, outside the doors of the cafeteria.

Edgefield Street House music rental

For Edgefield Street House, there are five known music boxes.

  • Go to the living room on the left. The music box is on the table with the lamp and the green ashtray.
  • First floor, garage. Look on the east wall.
  • Look to your left when you reach the top of the stairs to the second floor.
  • Second floor, orange bedroom. The music box can appear near the north wall.
  • Second floor, main bedroom. Look between the two doors inside.

Rent of Grafton Farfton Music Boxes

Grafton Farmhouse has six possible locations where the music box is generated.

  • First floor, interior of the workshop. The music box is in the window.
  • Enter the nursery. Another generation point is the window.
  • Right in the middle of the living room.
  • Look right at the top of the steps to the second floor.
  • Go to the right after reaching the top of the steps. Look inside the bedroom, in one of the windows.
  • Enter the lobby, behind the stairs. Look around the east of the room.

Music box rental at Maple Lodge Campsite

The Maple Lodge camp has five generation points of known music boxes.

  • Within the women's bathroom.
  • In the northern section of the map there is a fire. You will find the music box near.
  • Within the rental tent. The music box will be sitting in the middle.
  • Go to the picnic area and locate the nearby cabin. The music box will be located just outside the building.
  • Within the storage store.

Rent of music boxes in jail

Like Browstone High School, prison only has four music boxes locations.

  • After entering the prison, turn left. The music box is in a container, on the table.
  • After entering the prison, remain straight. Go inside the second room on your left.
  • Go to the hall to the right, when entering the prison. Follow the hall until you see a cart at the end. It is in the car.
  • Enter the double doors, after entering the prison. Turn left. Look at the bank.

Ring of Ridgeview Road House music boxes

You will find the music box in one of the six locations when you reproduce the Ridgeview Road House map.

  • Second floor, inside the girl's bedroom.
  • Second floor, inside the boy's bedroom.
  • Just before climbing the stairs to the second floor, along the right wall.
  • Enter the kitchen. Look inside the broom closet.
  • Enter the garage. You will find the music box in the northeast corner.
  • Enter the kitchen and lower the stairs to the basement. Go to the right after reaching the end of the steps to find the music box.

Tanglewood Street House music rental

The music box will appear in one of the five places on the Tanglewood Street House map.

  • Within the first floor bath.
  • The music box can also be found in the nursery, along the southern wall.
  • Within the main bedroom. Go to the right, enter to find the music box.
  • Between the kitchen and the dining room, along the western wall.
  • Enter the garage. You will find the music box hugging the southwest corner.

Willow Street House music rental

Finally, Willow Street House presents only five music generation points.

  • Turn left after entering the house. There is a possible location for the music box.
  • Enter the base and enter the hall. Throughout the north wall there are two doors. The music box can appear between those doors.
  • Within the main bedroom. Search the music box in the southwest corner.
  • Go to the hall, pass the kitchen. Search in the window located in the hall.
  • When entering the kitchen, turn left towards the double doors. You are in the garage now. Look on the shelves, just inside the door to find the music box.
