Really surprising, the message does not come because other Battle-Royale heavyweights such as Fortnite and PubG are already available for mobile platforms. Incidentally, the game has nothing to do with Call of Duty: Mobile to do, which also has a Battle-Royale mode.
We know that about Warzone Mobile
Unfortunately, the job advertisement does not give much ago because it is very common. However, it becomes clear that this is not a simple port, but a game developed from scratch for mobile platforms. This could also mean that there is no cross-play with the console version of Warzone and the mobile offshoot is treated as a completely independent entity. But we do not know exactly yet.
When will Warzone Mobile appear? A publication date is not known yet. Rumors speak of a publication this year, but an internal shift to 2023 is quite possible - among other things because of the ongoing corona pandemic.
Game-as-a-service: That is currently still looking for staff, does not mean that production is still in their infancy. From the job advertisement, it will be clear that Warzone Mobile, just like the console version, is to be fed over many years with updates and new content.
It is not known if Warzone Mobile will use the existing maps. Caldera is the latest access here:

Warzone gets a successor 2023
Activision has officially confirmed that Warzone will be replaced by a successor in the coming year. Much is not known about the game, except that it is developed from scratch and is based on a fresh engine.
Of course, that fails the hope of the fans that COD Warzone 2 could eliminate some of the stubborn problems of the first part. The developer studio Raven Software does not manage to control the many bugs and cheaters in the game.
