Infernax is dark and brutal but absolutely hilarious
The fans of Side-Scroller Retro rejoice! Next month, Infant will be launched on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch. We had a little taste of the game in advance, and we are here to tell you it's a fun moment.
Infernal recalls the classic games of Castlemaine. You have a base weapon, a shield and an endless horde of monsters to crush. You play Alcindor, a young duke who returns home to find him with dead-living creatures. At this point, you continue to crush the blood, the viscera and the coins of all that is on your passage.
The gore may be exaggerated, but the game does not take too much seriously. There is a conscious style of self and ironic in his humor. It sometimes happens that Alcindor meets people about to become dead living monsters. At that moment, you can choose to pray for them or smash their faces and get them out of their misery. These choices indicate that there will be consequences for these actions all over the line.
As Alcindor progresses, he will find pieces that he will be able to discuss merchants against improvements and better equipment. There are also secondary quests to recover with villagers and other NPCs.
Infernal also has Metroidvania elements, such as needing specific capabilities to make progress in a certain direction. The game is nice enough to let you know when you have reached a dead end. Infernal will be released on February 14 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch.
