Resident Evil: Welcome to the director of Raccoon City about what fans can expect from Jill Valentine
We do not have to wait much more to see the new vision of director Johannes Roberts for the RESIDENT EVIL FIRST DRAMATICS, a vision that is inspired directly on the original games. RESIDENT EVIL: Welcome to Raccoon City Take Stage Parts from Resident Evil Mansion and Resident Evil 2 The Raccoon City Police Department combines them in a single story, and that is why it also presents a mix of characters from both games. That includes the dear Jill Valentine, played by Hannah John-Kamen, and although she has not appeared a lot in the trailers, Roberts mocked what we can expect from the character when she passed through our podcast comic book nation.
Yes. Jill Valentine is one of the protagonists of the film, so its a set. She is pure John Carpenter. It really is a set movie. Jill is fucking great in the movie, Roberts said. Roberts also came into detail about how they tried to give Jill and Claire Redfield more defined characters in the film, since in games they can be too similar at times.
What was fascinating with all the issue of Jill Valentine was that one of the great challenges of combining the two games is to play is... you choose your characters and live, and you are experiencing the world through them, and it is all about the World instead of your character in the way it is a movie, said Roberts. The problem turned, particularly, is very, very evident in the remakes of 2 and 3. You put Claire and Jill together, they are very similar. They are simply two equal characters, and you have to be very careful, and I need to develop a character in a way and one character of the other.
With Hannah we really explore, I want to say that it is because she is like a high voltage cable. She is fucking crazy. Trying to talk to her is like... you never know... a bit everywhere. She is a crazy woman. That aspect of her real life came alive with Jill Valentine in the movie. I think people are going to have a lot of fun with her. Its very funny, but its amazing I really liked working with her. Crazy, crazy woman. That was great.
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City arrives at the cinemas on November 24.
